A delightful Monday

A beautiful (if not rather warm) day for us on this July Monday. We both were working hard. Belinda continues to do the amazing job of whipping the wellness center into shape ahead of next week's grand opening.

Charles worked for a few hours in the church office in the morning tending to church business. Later in the morning, he went to Iraan, where he spent some time visiting at the senior center. Afterwardsf, he paid a delightful visit to Lee & Dottie Mann, members of the Iraan First United Methhodist Church. Their backyard is an amazing collection of trees, cacti, and flowers -- a real arboretum in west Texas!!! The Mann's presented Charles with a pomegranate sapling to plant at the McCamey parsonage. Lee also showed off his efforts in the rock polishing arena. His workspace is full of rocks, geodes and gadgets of every sort to make decorative objects.

This evening we attended the monthly United Methodist Women's meeting. Before the meeting started Belinda was presented with some lovely home made jewelry made by Lou Dell Myrick. It was such a nice gesture and matched the outfit Belinda was wearing!
