Charles made it home this afternoon from his stay at the Oblate Renewal Center in San Antonio and his first session of the Two-year Academy for Spiritual Formation. It was a good experience, and there is certainly a lot to look forward to in the coming two years!

Each day consisted of a morning prayer service, a morning learning session, a quiet hour, mid-day prayer service, an afternoon learning session, another hour of quiet, daily eucharist service, a covenant group session and an evening prayer service.

Charles reports that the grounds and facilities of the Oblate Center are really beautiful, and the food that was provided was fantastic!
