We were invited to Bobbie & Bill Lester's house for a neighborhood picnic (moved indoors due to the rain which continued to fall today). What a great time! Most of the women were members of the Bunko group here in McCamey and they gathered around the dining room table. The men meanwhile gathered in another room to talk about oil, golf, and well, the stuff men talk about at picnics!
A hit today was the special desert made by one of the ladies. She brought homemade pound cake which looked like French fries! Such a creative person and yes, they tasted as good as they looked!!!
