Charles had a different sort of busy day (than the one Belinda had). He took care of some church business and then went over to the Lester's home and dug up a prickly pear cactus that they wanted removed. He replanted it at the parsonage, where it will be enjoyed for years to come!

He went to Iraan this evening to greet a group of Boy Scouts and their leaders from a United Methodist Church (UMC) in Houston. They were on their way west to Ft. Davis and the First UMC in Iraan was happy to provide some west Texas hospitality for these fine young men!

On his way back from Iraan, he stopped by the Upton County rodeo arena and enjoyed some local cowboys (and cowgirls) in a calf-roping competition. It is so much fun to be in that environment! He is looking forward to their next event!
