A dashboard tour

After our morning gathering at the Convalescent Center, we joined Bill & Bobbie Lester for lunch at Elena's. It is great to have a place where we can see and be seen by so many! Gary Elliott was there too and surprised us all by treating us to lunch! What a pleasant surprise!!!

We then had a brief dashboard tour of the east side of McCamey courtesy of Bill & Bobbie. It is fun seeing a community through the eyes of someone who has been here awhile. We spotted several four-footed residents on our drive through the eastside streets. Two of these were two goats who had slipped through their fence and were enjoying the bushes at Jean Myrick's back fence.

This evening we enjoyed the rest of our Schlotzky's meal (from yesterday) and then we enjoyed another thunderstorm as it passed McCamey. We've had over eight inches in the past twelve days - what a blessing (even it if does mean another lawn mowing this week!).
