Today was not a typical Monday! Last night, Belinda got a call from one of her staff at the wellness center that the staff member couldn't make it this morning. This meant that Belinda had to be at work today at 5:00 A.M.! By the time Charles took the first picture just after seven this morning,Belinda had already been at work for over two hours! She is one tired puppy tonight!
Charles went to Iraan for lunch at the senior's center and chatted with several of the First UMC members. This is the place to be for lunch in eastern Pecos County!
On his way to his weekly lectionary study group in Rankin, Charles spotted some cattle grazing. Something about the scene looked odd, so Charles backed up, and there were two alpacas watching over the cattle. One never knows what will be seen on the highways and biways of west Texas!

On that last note, on our way back from Iraan yesterday morning (on the way to McCamey), we almost hit a HUGE white-tailed buck. He came from out of nowhere and ran across the road, about two car lengths in front of us, at a dead-run. Sure got our attention!
