The annual (3-day) McCamey Bluegrass Festival got off to a foot-stomping start this morning at the convalescent center during the Thursday morning coffee time. Charles joined the residents in welcoming one of the event's bands, which was a real treat.
This evening, we went to the gospel music event at the Park Building here in McCamey. We didn't stay to the end, but we did enjoy some mighty fine pickin'! We also enjoyed the meal that was available: Home-made chili, cornbread, fruit and desserts. We are so glad to have this in our town!
