The September sun was shinning brightly upon Iraan this afternoon for the homecoming parade. The parade was led by Wanda Morrow and Nelda Clark Owens, the co-chairs of this bi-annual event. We spotted several of the First UMC members among the parade participants, including Marie Richardson (one of the parade judges), Lewis Blackburn (class of 1936!) and Ronnie Ward (class of 1958). There were others we are sure were present, but we didn't see them :)
It was a great time in Iraan, seeing the excitement on the faces of the young and young-at-heart alike!
