Saturday was another busy day playing the tourist in Atlanta! We headed back into the city to see Zoo Atlanta ,which was high on Charles and Dee Dee's list of things to do! Belinda was a good sport and was happy to see the flamingos at the entrance. There was something for everyone at the zoo, including feeding the budgies (parakeets) and taking a train ride around the zoo.
Right next door to the zoo was the famous Atlanta Cyclorama: The amazing painting and diorama of the Battle of Atlanta in 1864. This is a really interesting recount of this pivotal battle in the Civil War; it is well-worth seeing.
