Our sojourn begins in the Land of 10,000 Lakes

Waking up to a dense fog coming in off Lake Superior this morning curtailed our tourist plans for Superior, WI/Duluth, MN, so we headed on our way, bound for Aitkin, Minnesota, and our stay with friends, Pastor Judy Clark-Hixon and Leon Hixon.

We will be spending some time at their cabin in the deep, dark Minnesota woods and some time at Judy's parsonage in town. We last visited here in the spring of 2007, when it was much, much colder! Who knows what we'll discover in the coming weeks: Stay tuned!
