What a wonderful morning! The weather was beautiful this morning on the shore of Lake Linde with warmer temperatures than we've had for several days. Charles was even motivated to sweep the mass of leaves from off of the deck; leaves provide such a delightful scent first thing in the morning!
We went to church at Aitkin UMC where Charles had been invited by Pastor Judy Clark to assist with communion. With the choir singing, an inspired sermon and communion it was a wonderful time spent in the company of the saints! After a time of fellowship, we joined some of the choir members for a practice of music that we'll be singing tomorrow afternoon at one of the area care centers. The theme of the music is an old-fashioned "USO Show!" Come back tomorrow for a recounting of that event!!!
After lunch at the Sawmill Cafe`in Brainerd, we're in for a restful afternoon. Hope you are doing the same, wherever you are today!
