After driving back and forth from St. Cloud yesterday, we spent a relaxing day in and around Aitkin. This morning at the cabin on Lake Linde, we spotted a rather acrobatic squirrel, climbing on the kitchen window's screen. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the activity of The Beanery. The sky was so beautiful as we left The Beanery that we decided to take a drive. The colors in the evening sky were just perfect! We ended up in Brainerd, where we discovered the best burgers and sweet potato fries anywhere!!! Matty's Saloon is about as close to an English-style pub as you're likely to find, and it is now officially on Charles' and Belinda's favorite places to eat list.
