Our morning got off to a late start, having overslept after the whirlwind of the past couple of days. Waking up to the sound of a light rain, we were happy to enjoy the slower pace that was our Sunday by Lake Linde. As we were enjoying our morning tea, we were presented with a delightful surprise when three white tailed deer stopped by for a visit. From the cabin, we watched the three beautiful creatures graze for acorns and other delictibles near the cabin's wood pile. We were able to take a few pictures, but nothing could capture the beauty of that moment in the woods.
We were visited by an acrobatic troupe of squirrels on the cabin's deck. What a joy to be gifted with such beauty and talent!!!
After a restful afternoon, we ventured forth again, this time bound for Baxter! We stopped for supper at Poncho & Lefty's, a nice Mexican eatery, and then we stopped by Wal-Mart.
