Grace and peace to all our blog readers on this Friday in November! We pray your day was a good one today. It was a good day for us.
We relaxed at the lakeside cabin in the morning. This afternoon, we enjoyed a lovely drive in the neighboring regions. We stopped by the Grace Lutheran (Log) Church at Big Sandy Lake Twp. (near McGregor), where they were having a delicious fundraiser dinner. They have some amazing cooks in that church, to be sure! We enjoyed THE BEST ham, boiled potatoes, carrots, potatoes, corn, fresh beets, homemade pickles, homemade yeast rolls (white and wheat) and awesome pies/desserts! Wow! No one left hungry, that's for sure!
Tonight finds us in Grand Rapids, at the Caribbou Coffeehouse there. We plan to stop off at Walmart before returning to our cabin in the woods.
