After a full day for us, it was time to find something for supper! Luckily for us, Aitkin churches and other groups sponsor a free meal each Monday evening at the First Lutheran Church. The Aitkin United Methodist Church folks sponsored this week's meal. A great crew turned out to handle all the tasks of providing, serving and cleaning up for this ministry.
We joined Pastor Judy, her husband Leon and around one hundred Aitkin residents for a delicious meal of ham, veggies and au-gratin potatoes, bread and bars. It was all so yummy! Praise be to God for faithful servants who do what they can to make such a delicious meal for their neighbors!
