What an adventure we've had over the past 24-hours! Last evening, we decided to favor the parsonage as our place of dwelling rather than face the mouse in the cabin. Judy gave us a fashion show featuring the family dog. An adorable little sweater number was featured (not sure how Oreo, the dog felt about the whole thing though)!
When we woke this morning, the clouds were already coming in, announcing the arrival of yet another front bringing rain to the state. We visited the cabin and took care of our unwanted guest and some fall cleaning in the cabin. We amused ourselves during our work by listening to the local radio (KKIN) station's wednesday morning show, a radio auction. What a hoot! We really enjoy the hosts, such nice people and so funny!
Heading back into Aitkin, we ate at The Beanery for lunch. In Aitkin, the town's Christmas street decorations were illuminated; they are so pretty! Next we ran an errand in Brainerd for Leon and Judy and then had supper at The Sawmill Cafe. We had a good day today! Praise be to God!!!
