Wisconsin Weekend (part 3)

Having had a whirwind weekend in The Dairy State, it was time to hit the road early this morning. We decided the better part of valor was to leave the city before the crush of Packer fans descended. As it was, by 10:00 AM the traffic was already backing up on the highways as the faithful flocked to the home of the green and gold, Lambeau Field.

We drove across central Wisconsin in heavy skies which gave-way to a steady rain about mid-way through the state. By the time we entered Minnesota, the rain had given way to a dense fog which made the last hour of our trek somewhat of a challenge.

It was a wonderful weekend and now it is back to the cabin at Linde Lake for our last week (for awhile) in Minnesota.
